The headlines read: Human Bitten by Werewolf.

Story of my life.

The names Joey Santana and my twenty-fifth birthday didn’t necessarily go as planned. In a world where supernaturals and humans live together, I was attacked and saved by none other than the Alpha of the Los Angeles Pack. But with survival came a price. And I wasn’t sure if I was ready to pay it.

Fast forward and I’m waking up the next morning in some stranger’s house with a half-naked man coming out of a bathroom. Awkward. And it so happens to be the Alpha’s son, Reed Stone. Right off the bat, he knows I’m trouble with a capital T since there haven’t been any humans turned into supes since supernaturals were outed five years ago. But if he thinks I’m going to sit back and take whatever he’s got coming, he’s painfully mistaken. I might have been human, but I now have canines, and I bite.

We’re forced to work together to wade through the supernatural politics and threats that await me. Our personalities clash in a battle of wills for dominance as the two of us grow closer together to solve the biggest mystery of all—why the hell would my father want to kill me?

What if I were in two places at once?

That’s the question I have to ask myself after the death of my father. Plagued with night terrors and lack of sleep, I keep blacking out and finding myself in strange places. Reed has memories of me that I don’t have, and the question remains, am I going crazy?

Accused of murder, I make a deal with the shadiest supernatural in all of the supe district. And while this deal might keep me from behind bars, it has me chained to an open debt that one day he’ll come to collect.

After another human murder, the humans are pushing for the Registration Act even more with the support of Humans United and it’s looking bleak for supernaturals. The Senate is going to vote and it’s now just a countdown for when they’ll be coming for us.

Can we keep our freedom from the humans? Am I really going crazy? Or will our house of cards finally come crashing down?

Humans vs Supes. The war has finally begun.

With our faction leaders taken by the humans, we are left to fend for ourselves in a locked-down supernatural district with limited supplies. Great. How long can we survive without the outside world?

In my desperate attempt to rescue my friends, I make a deal with both Magdalena and the seelie. Unfortunately, that plan backfires and the consequences are dire. Leaving me in a predicament in which I can’t solve on my own.

With my family curse looming over my head, and the need to help the supes, I desperately try to fix everything. But when it all comes crashing down, will I be able to survive?

Once you’ve felt love, it’s hard to let it go.

The curse has been unleashed at the stroke of midnight and everything has changed. Everyone who once cared for me is now indifferent. And the one person who loved me unconditionally now hates my guts. I’ve never felt more alone before in my life.

Hiding out with the seelies has been my only option, but when truths unfold, even the seelie aren’t safe anymore. With nowhere to turn to and no one to trust, I find an unlikely ally who amidst it all, doesn’t hate me.

Putting myself first for once, it’s a race against the clock to break this curse and free myself from this torment while the supernaturals deal with their war against the humans. Nothing is what it seems and nothing will ever be the same again.
